Egypt

Egypt was a perfect destination to finish this year around the world. Back in a warm country, to get a bit tanned, but also to discover a really charming country with a very nice bunch of people.
Cairo, the first stop, was at the same time chaotic, exotic and fascinating. Historical arechological sites like Abu Simbel and the valley of the kings were defenitely the "must see" of my visit, although the Pyramids of Giza and Luxor were quite as interesting.
The best part of this trip will however remain this 3-days cruise in felucca on the Nile, as much for its landscapes as for the fun we had on the sailing boat. Dahab and the Sinai mount were last but not least very relaxing and is a place to advise for divers and people who likes snorkelling (although the beaches of Dahab are a little disappointing). People who like to party will be pleased as well with the numerous pubs, clubs and restaurants.
